Community Service

Beth is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Indiana University-Bloomington. She received her law degree with honors from the Georgetown University Law Center. Beth served for 9 years on the Board of the Julian Center, a local non-profit focused on assisting victims of domestic violence and served on the Indianapolis Public Schools Educational Foundation Board. She is an adjunct professor at the O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs at Indiana University-Indianapolis, a member of the Indianapolis Bar Association, and on the Board of the Balance of State Continuum of Care (ending homelessness). Beth spends time mentoring young people for many organizations, including Girls, Inc., EmployIndy, and the Indianapolis Public Schools. She is a faithful member of Central Christian Church in downtown Indianapolis, serving on the Board of Trustees and singing in the choir. Beth is an active 20-year resident of the historic Irvington neighborhood on the east side of Indianapolis, where she lives with her husband and son.
